Meet Mina, the creative force behind Design by Azure. With a deep appreciation for beauty, artistry, and all things captivating, Mina brings her expertise to life. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (former Ryerson University), BIM Management certificate from George Brown College, and an Interior Architecture diploma from the University of Tehran, she polished her skills alongside Toronto's esteemed designers.
A proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada (DDA), Mina's journey led her to open a boutique showroom/studio in 2017 at the prestigious Improve Centre, Canada's Largest Home Improvement Centre, in Vaughan, Ontario.
Mina’s design philosophy stems from her passion for creativity, allowing her innate talent to guide the way. Attending superior interior design shows worldwide, such as Salone Del Mobile Milano, Highpoint Furniture Market, Maison et Objet, IIDEX, and IDS Toronto, Mina constantly seeks inspiration and stays abreast of the latest industry trends. During her visits to Iran, Mina witnessed the hardships children face in rural and low-income communities, which ignited her determination to establish a for-profit business with a purpose. For every $100 in sales, Design by Azure and Azure and Co donate $1, demonstrating their commitment to clients, trades, and a better future. Ultimately, Mina and her team firmly believe everyone should love their living and working spaces. Embracing the words of Issey Miyake, "Design is not for philosophy, It's for life," they pour their hearts into creating designs that enrich and elevate the lives of their clients.
