My Grandfather Wilfred Francis Cook was an electrician who worked on the hydro lines and gold mines in Malartic (near Val d’Or, Quebec), and St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto. He was involved with a company called Research which spearheaded electrical conversion of Canada a reality in the 1940s.
