Neufeld Furniture and Woodwork is locally owned and operated by husband and wife, Curtis and Faye Neufeld. They have been married since 2003 and have two teenage daughters.
Our Story
At a young age Curtis had an interest in building furniture. At the age of 14 he designed and built his first Morris chair, this began a lifelong passion of learning the best techniques in furniture building. Out of school he began working in his brother’s millwork shop further developing his furniture and cabinet building skills. With a love for furniture he shifted to managing his parents’ furniture store. Being in the retail world showed him there was a market for high quality, custom furniture and his knowledge of the industry helped him to build and design furniture that was competitively priced. Curtis began to build furniture in his spare time which he retailed at his parents store. The years Curtis spent perfecting his skills laid the vision for Neufeld Furniture and Woodwork.
Together in 2013, Curtis and Faye opened Neufeld Furniture and Woodworks. The business has been rapidly growing and in 2021 two expansions were possible. They were able to move their finishing department to its own location and afterward were able to expand into the unit next to them increasing their shop size. The expansions have enabled them to offer more services as a result.
